New Moon/ Solar Eclipse at 21 degrees of Libra: THE DROP/ LA CHUTE

The falling apart and coming together of eclipses and the falling apart and coming together of ourselves. The sun will be eclipsed on the 14th of October by the intimacies and inner life of the Moon. This is a moment to listen into the emotional truths that dwell in our bellies that may at times be consumed by the light of our solar awareness towards our self-becoming in this world. For a moment, the Moon’s ocean swallows the I AM and does away with hard externality picking up threads of insight into our ejective world, the endless place inside that holds our capacity for connection.

The dance between connection and self-propulsion has become a complicated one within modern mindsets, we often times find ourselves living at the poles of the opposition, at times negating the underlying truth that there is no self without other and that we are creations of ourselves living in the world imagined by the minds of all.

Eclipses can bring in a touch of otherworldliness and of rescinding back into the bottom emotional truths that seek the light of our Sun for deeper conscious integration. The South Node in Libra reveals to us patterns of elusion or avoidance around the balance of thought and feeling in our lives.

Can we reconcile our troubled hearts into allowing ourselves to give equal foot of the two in our lives.Can we examine our aloneness while being honest about our loneliness?

What about the aliveness of self must meet our motivation towards the quality of connection we are seeking to upkeep?

A fateful washing away, an emptying that seeks to rouse us back into fullness.

Eclipses ask us to retreat from the world and go inward to fine-tune our moral and spiritual compasses, to be honest with the outbreak of our inner world that is taking place.

The New Moon/S Eclipse in Libra asks us to hold in our bodies the internalised wisdom that we have received from the pursuit of our desires and to observe ourselves creating a new cycle of intentions in order to not repeat the past in new ways. We must refrain from recycling our stories, if we can help it.

With Aries pulling us into the North Node, the theme of will and how we wield it in relation to ourselves and others is pertinent. Do our choices reflect the truth of our hearts? In choice and the exertion of our will we can find freedom and prison all at once. Responsibility about ourselves and each other. We can always treat each other better.

We are at times at the mercy of dangers without and within, a life unsure which holds the only truth; nothing is for certain, entropy will emerge out of chaos. Venus is the closest aspect of this eclipse suggesting that our patterns of relating, desiring, our values and our heart-truths are being brought in from the underworld left behind in September into these eclipses.
With an opposition to Chiron, the wounded and liminal healer, we are invited to sit in the middle of our pain and deep gratitude and ask the two to speak. To begin to accept and reassemble ourselves in wholeness.
Lastly, the Moon is also squaring Pluto and as war erupts in my region, we see where our human connectedness falls short. Division swathes the world and polarisation peaks our wounds around where the limits of our connectedness are within ourselves and the communities we live in.
We are asked to acknowledge vital themes of self preservation, the right to autonomy, root safety and the place of springing (Aries), freedom and the struggle for peace and the transgressions of human relationship. The complexity of relating to others in colonial contexts, the voice of the many and the few.

FOR THE TRANSGRESSIONS DONE IN THE SACRED HOUSE OF CONNECTION.
